Welcome to My Blog: A Journey Through Tech, Sales, and Books
Hey there! I’m Gabriel, and I’m excited to kick off this blog by sharing a bit about myself.
Who Am I?
I have spent the last 12 years working in technology, with experience spanning software development, implementation, and solutions engineering. My career has taken me through different industries, including Software Development, Oil & Gas, and Education. I’ve also had the chance to co-found an NGO focused on helping public school teachers, which was a deeply rewarding experience.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worked as a Sales Engineer, Software Engineer, and even as a technical founder. My main strength lies in bridging the gap between technology and business—simplifying complex solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences. I thrive on problem-solving, understanding customer needs, and finding creative solutions that make a real impact.
Some of the skills I’ve developed over the years include:
- Programming (Python, SQL, JavaScript)
- API Integrations
- Project Management
- Technical Demos & Presentations
- Building Client Relationships
My Love for Books (and Soccer!)
Beyond technology and sales, I have a deep passion for books. I believe that reading is one of the best ways to grow, both personally and professionally. One of my all-time favorite books is Feel-Good Productivity by Ali Abdaal. It perfectly aligns with my philosophy on work and life—focusing on sustainable, enjoyable productivity rather than burnout-driven hustle.
And when I’m not working or reading, you’ll probably find me watching or playing soccer. I’ve always loved the game—whether it’s a weekend match with friends or following my favorite teams, soccer has been a constant source of excitement and connection for me.
Why This Blog?
I’m starting this blog as a way to share my insights, experiences, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Whether it’s about navigating a career in tech, transitioning into sales, discussing great books, or even talking about soccer, I want this space to be a mix of professional growth and personal interests.
I’d love for this to be a two-way conversation, so if anything here resonates with you—or if you have book recommendations (or want to talk soccer!)— reach out!
Thanks for reading, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! 🚀📚⚽
